Rewards

To check your rewards balance you’ll need to go to affinitybsc.app using a DApp browser on your mobile device or using a web browser on your computer with a wallet extension installed (such as metamask). For more information about DApp browsers click here.

Once you’ve loaded the DApp, you simply need to connect your wallet by clicking the “connect wallet” button in the top right corner. Your claimable rewards (unpaid) as well as your wallet’s current total balance in each rewards currency will populate once your wallet has been successfully connected.

All rewards are auto distributed based on volume. It could take hours or days to receive automatically but you will get them. It is impossible for the contract to “skip” someone who is holding. You WILL get rewards of you have Affinity in your wallet. Alternatively, you can use the dapp to manually claim.

Rewards are calculated based on market share. There is a flat amount in BNB value that gets purchased by the contract. It is then distributed to all wallet holding. The more tokens (market share) you hold, the more you will receive in rewards.

Rewards are paid immediately after the contract sells the tax and buys the reward tokens. These rewards remain in a pending state until they are actually distributed to you or claimed manually through the dapp. If volume is low, it could take quite a while for the rewards to be auto distributed to your wallet.

They may not have been automatically distributed to you (see above).

PLEASE NOTE:

It’s important to pay very close attention when purchasing, trading or selling any cryptocurrency. Currency sent to the wrong wallet address or transfers made in the wrong currency will most likely be lost forever. Always triple check all details before submitting a transaction.

Every software wallet provider has unique features, pros and cons. We encourage you to thoroughly research each wallet provider to make a choice that’s best for you.

A quick note about Metamask: If you’ve chosen to use this wallet provider and have not previously set it up to view the Binance Smart Chain Network you will need to do that in order to purchase, trade or view your BSC based tokens such as Affinity. Binance has created a guide on how to set this up which can be viewed here.

BNB can be purchased through exchanges such as Binance.us or several other websites. For your convenience we have included a purchase option on our website found on the “How to Buy” page here.

You can swap into Affinity using BNB BEP20 on Pancakeswap (see “Buy Now” button above) buy adding the Affinity contract number, selecting BNB as the main currency to use for the swap. You will need to set the slippage to 6% to cover taxes and other volatility.

Alternatively, you can use the direct buy function on ADAPT by simply connecting your wallet, entering how much BNB you’d like to buy with. You will automatically receive the appropriate amount of Affinity in your wallet equal to the value of BNB minus the 4% buy tax.

“Selling” Affinity is the opposite steps of “buying”. On Pancakeswap (see “Buy Now” button above) add the Affinity contract number, selecting BNB as the main currency to swap into. You will need to set the slippage to 17% to cover taxes and other volatility.

GENERAL/OTHER

A DApp (which stands for “decentralized application”) is a computer application that runs on a decentralized computing system instead of a single computer, and are outside the purview and control of a single authority.

The best way to view a DApp on your mobile device is to get an app with a built in DApp browser. If you’re on a computer, simply visit the DApp using a browser with a compatible wallet extension installed. One of the most common apps/browser extensions for viewing DApps is Metamask but many others exist.

Slippage refers to the difference between the expected price of a trade and the price at which the trade is executed. Slippage is required in defi tokens that have buy tax. You MUST set the slippage higher than the tax amount.

Slippage happens when traders have to settle for a different price than what they initially requested due to a movement in price between the time the order enters the market and the execution of a trade. This phenomenon can occur in all markets, like forex and stocks. However, it is more frequent, and a lot worse, in crypto markets (especially on decentralized exchanges like Pancakeswap) due to the high levels of price volatility. In addition, common pain points that the vast majority of altcoins suffer from such as low volume and liquidity may also contribute to slippage.

The price of a token can be checked at sites such as coinmarketcap.com, poocoin.app, or dextools.io for live price data, charts, and much more information.
